As we sometimes use this blog as a test platform for half-finished ideas, here is one such idea. You can use photo posts as a way to “typeset” a message. If images are characters (and, as Eric Gill reminds us, letters are things, not pictures of things), you can easily spell words with them. You have to write backwards though for the words to appear legibly in the timeline. You can reblog characters to make other words. They can be in different typefaces, alluding to a distributed version of the famed Sex Pistols “Never Mind The Bollocks” sleeve typography. Obviously, the purpose of this typesetting method can be political. Some words or sentences may take weeks to write and can only be read over a longer time, requiring to be “followed.”
